During Membership Application process, CLAS members agree to a Code of Conduct that covers:

• Honest business practices and compliance with Singapore law (fire safety, public health, tenancy, employment and consumer protection rules)
• Strict compliance with competition law — members do not discuss or agree on pricing with one another
• Clear consumer protections: visible pricing, complaint channels, and prompt handling of machine-fault refunds
• Machine maintenance and fire-safety practices, including regular lint-trap and duct clearing
• PDPA-compliant handling of CCTV footage and customer data
• Respectful conduct between members, with mediation offered before public disputes escalate

Members who breach the Code are subject to a fair disciplinary process, up to suspension or expulsion.
